What’s Next For Florida?

That’s the million dollar question for the Florida gator fans. What is up next for the Gators? I really don’t know what this means for the program. Some guys who maybe were heading to gatorland may now back out of their commitments and who will run the program next. Not alot of high profile names out their. The Gators may promote from within to keep the program going the way it was. no matter what it was a great ride for the Gators that have come to a quick end.

I’m about 99% sure Anthony Grant, current VCU coach and former longtime assistant of Donovan at Florida will get the job. The only roadblock here is if Donovan hires him first to be his assistant at Orlando, unlikely though as Florida will most likely pull all stops to get Grant. Foley has apparently already spoken with VCU officials to ask permission to interview Grant.
The top recruiting class of 2007 appears to be safe.
Calathes and Parsons say they won’t seek releases.
Tyus and Allen will probably stay.
Jai Lucas is the only one that has said he will wait and see.
