Arkansas Nips Vanderbilt

Gary Ervin didn’t score alot of points but he did score the most important ones as he sank a jump shot with 11 seconds left to give Arkansas a 72-71 victory over vanderbilt. Vanderbilt was a heavy favorite, but someone forgot to tell Arkansas. The Razorbacks played like they belonged and are heading to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament for the first time since 2001.

Vanderbilt I really thought would dominate this game but it didn’t happen that way. I wonder how much of a difference having a bye hurt Vanderbilt. It looks like playing was just what Arkansas need as they are playing well and are trying to play themselves into the tournament.
