Georgia Golf Coach Resigns

Monday, May 14th, 2007

20070514132609990004.gif

Todd McCorkle decided to resign as the women’s golf coach at Georgia as many different allegations have surfaced from inappropriate sexual comments and jokes. McCorkle had reportedly also shown the Paris Hilton video to them. I don’t know if all the allegations are valid or not but resigning was the proper thing to do. Many times coaches make bad decisions and improper conduct has no place in college sports. Hopefully the Georgia Golf team can put this behind them and move on.

Mississippi State Football Schedule

Monday, May 14th, 2007

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are looking to improve on last years performance and being in such a tough conference makes it hard. I did see some good things from them last year and they should be able to improve on last years record. Let’s take a look at their schedule:

MISSISSIPPI STATE BULLDOGS
Aug. 30 (Thu.) *LSU
Sept. 8 at Tulane
Sept. 15 *at Auburn
Sept. 22 GARDNER-WEBB
Sept. 29 *at South Carolina
Oct. 6 UAB
Oct. 13 *TENNESSEE
Oct. 20 at West Virginia
Oct. 27 *at Kentucky
Nov. 10 *ALABAMA
Nov. 17 *at Arkansas
Nov. 23 (Fri.) *OLE MISS

For the most part the schedule is ver favorable with only a few road games such as at Arkansas, at West Virginia and at auburn are tough ones. This could be a very interesting year for the Bulldogs fans this year.

Ole Miss Schedule

Friday, May 11th, 2007

Fans Of Ole Miss are hoping for better things in the future and I think they aren’t really that far away from being competitive. Ole Miss biggest problem is their in a very tough conference and that’s the biggest part of the problem. Let’s look over their schedule:

OLE MISS REBELS
Sept. 1 at Memphis
Sept. 8 MISSOURI
Sept. 15 *at Vanderbilt
Sept. 22 *FLORIDA
Sept. 29 *at Georgia
Oct. 6 LOUISIANA TECH
Oct. 13 *ALABAMA
Oct. 20 *ARKANSAS
Oct. 27 *at Auburn
Nov. 3 NORTHWESTERN ST.
Nov. 17 *LSU
Nov. 23 (Fri.) *at Mississippi State

Besides At Auburn and georgia most of tha hard games at home. This helps and maybe the home crowd can help them out. A big win against one of the bigger conference opponents would sure help this team this coming year.

LSU Tigers Schedule

Thursday, May 10th, 2007

The LSU Tigers lost their stud in JaMarcus Russell who was the number one pick in the NFL draft, but believe me the cupboard is far from bare in LSU. The Tigers schedule is also very favorable for a National Championship run.

LSU TIGERS
Aug. 30 (Thu.) *at Mississippi State
Sept. 8 VIRGINIA TECH
Sept. 15 MIDDLE TENNESSEE
Sept. 22 *SOUTH CAROLINA
Sept. 29 at Tulane
Oct. 6 *FLORIDA
Oct. 13 *at Kentucky
Oct. 20 *AUBURN
Nov. 3 *at Alabama
Nov. 10 LOUISIANA TECH
Nov. 17 *at Ole Miss
Nov. 23 (Fri.) *ARKANSAS

Besides at at Alabama game the Tigers have every tough game at home. It would surprise me to see this team undefeated at the end of the season as they have the talent and the schedule sure helps out alot.

Kentucky Wildcats Schedule

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007

The Kentucky Wildcats have improved alot lately and this year’s schedule should help them out on improving on last years record. The Wildcats are headed the right direction in football and this schedule can only help them.

KENTUCKY WILDCATS
Sept. 1 EASTERN KENTUCKY
Sept. 8 KENT STATE
Sept. 15 LOUISVILLE
Sept. 22 *at Arkansas
Sept. 29 FLORIDA ATLANTIC
Oct. 4 (Thu.) *at South Carolina
Oct. 13 *LSU
Oct. 20 *FLORIDA
Oct. 27 *MISSISSIPPI STATE
Nov. 10 *at Vanderbilt
Nov. 17 *at Georgia
Nov. 24 *TENNESSEE

Road games at South Carolina,Georgia and Arkansas are tough ones, but the hard ones are at home. Back to back games with LSU andd Florida is tough, but they are at home. I think The Wildcats should have a very good season this year and may surprise a few teams in the SEC.

Georgia Bulldogs Schedule

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

The Georgia Bulldogs had a very good season compared where they have been lately and this season looks like they will have another good team. they will need it with the schedule that they are up against this year.

GEORGIA BULLDOGS
Sept. 1 OKLAHOMA STATE
Sept. 8 *SOUTH CAROLINA
Sept. 15 WESTERN CAROLINA
Sept. 22 *at Alabama
Sept. 29 *OLE MISS
Oct. 6 *at Tennessee
Oct. 13 *at Vanderbilt
Oct. 27 *vs. Florida (at Jacksonville)
Nov. 3 TROY
Nov. 10 *AUBURN
Nov. 17 *KENTUCKY
Nov. 24 at Georgia Tech

The Bulldogs have road games against Georgia Tech,Tennessee,Vanderbilt,Alabama, and Florida at jacksonville. No easy task their if you ask me. The Bulldogs will have their hands full with this schedule, but may surprise a few people this year with how well they will do.

Florida Gators Football Schedule

Monday, May 7th, 2007

What will the Florida gators do for an encore? After winn the National Championship in football the Gators loaded up again with some great talent, but will it be enough to win another SEC championship and a National Title. Looking over the schedule I say no.

2007 SEC Football Schedule
Sept. 1 WESTERN KENTUCKY
Sept. 8 TROY
Sept. 15 *TENNESSEE
Sept. 22 *at Ole Miss
Sept. 29 *AUBURN
Oct. 6 *at LSU
Oct. 20 *at Kentucky
Oct. 27 *vs. Georgia (at Jacksonville)
Nov. 3 *VANDERBILT
Nov. 10 *at South Carolina
Nov. 17 FLORIDA ATLANTIC
Nov. 24 FLORIDA STATE

The Gators have games at tennessee,Ole Miss,Auburn,LSU,Kentucky,Georgia and South Carolina. I can see them maybe losing two of those. This is a tough schedule because all their tough games our on the road. I will be surprised if they win another SEC title this year.

Auburn Football Schedule

Friday, May 4th, 2007

After a big win in the Cotton Bowl over Nebraska the Auburn Tigers are looking of a SEC crown this year. One that everyone predicted for last year. The Tigers will be tough again, but how does their schedule stack up.

Sept. 1 KANSAS STATE
Sept. 8 SOUTH FLORIDA
Sept. 15 *MISSISSIPPI STATE
Sept. 22 NEW MEXICO STATE
Sept. 29 *at Florida
Oct. 6 *VANDERBILT
Oct. 13 *at Arkansas
Oct. 20 *at LSU
Oct. 27 *OLE MISS
Nov. 3 TENNESSEE TECH
Nov. 10 *at Georgia
Nov. 24 *ALABAMA

The Tigers schedule early is fairly easy than it gets tough. Road games at Florida,Arkansas,LSU, and even Ole Miss won’t be easy. I can’t see them winning them all. After those tough road games they still have a game with Alabama at home the last game of the season. If Auburn is to win the SEC they may need some luck along the way.

Arkansas Football Schedule

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

After one of their best years in a long time the Arkansas football team and their fans can’t wait for the season to start. They are pumped after last years run and can’t wait to see this years squad play. Looking over the schedule it may have a few bumps in the road.

Sept. 1 TROY
Sept. 15 *at Alabama
Sept. 22 *KENTUCKY
Sept. 29 NORTH TEXAS
Oct. 6 CHATTANOOGA
Oct. 13 *AUBURN
Oct. 20 *at Ole Miss
Oct. 27 FLA. INTERNATIONAL
Nov. 3 *SOUTH CAROLINA
Nov. 10 *at Tennessee
Nov. 17 *MISSISSIPPI STATE
Nov. 23 (Fri.) *at LSU

Arkansas sure didn’t get any favors when they were handing out the schedule that’s for sure. They have away games against LSU,Alabama, and Tennessee all very tough games on the road in the SEC. Florida isn’t on the schedule so they got a break their. If they can get past Auburn half way through and still be undefeated it could be a special season for razorback fans.

Alabama’s Football Schedule

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

I decided I was going to go over some of the teams in the SEC and their upcoming 2007 schedule. First up is the Alabama Crimson Tide with new coach Nick Saban. Let’s take a look at their schedule.

ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE
Sept. 1 WESTERN CAROLINA
Sept. 8 *at Vanderbilt
Sept. 15 *ARKANSAS
Sept. 22 *GEORGIA
Sept. 29 Florida State (at Jacksonville)
Oct. 6 HOUSTON
Oct. 13 *at Ole Miss
Oct. 20 *TENNESSEE
Nov. 3 *LSU
Nov. 10 *at Mississippi State
Nov. 17 LOUISIANA-MONROE
Nov. 24 *at Auburn

Nick Saban could surprise a few people after looking over his scedule. Most of his tough games are at home and the toughest will be the last one at Auburn. That’s a very heated rivalry and I’m sure their will be something on the line when they play. For the most part though the schedule is very favorable. No Florida this year either which helps.
